NetSecOPEN Enters Into Collaboration Agreement with Informa Tech
Today, September 15 2021, Informa Tech has announced that it has entered into a collaboration
agreement with NetSecOPEN. This partnership will see us working with multiple Informa Tech brands.
The partnership between Informa Tech and NetSecOPEN will see Informa Tech’s research group Omdia analyze NetSecOPEN certified, lab-controlled performance benchmarking of cybersecurity products and qualitative data to produce and publish reports and insights to inform customer purchasing decisions. These reports will include publicly available comparative reports.
The cybersecurity technology industry needs standardized testing and credible independent third-party comparative research on both security product performance and efficacy.
NetSecOPEN testing data provides a solid technical foundation for evaluating products that will enable Omdia to produce independent analysis and data on top of testing data to compare results across vendors and evaluate vendor performance.
Dark Reading will work with NetSecOPEN to raise enterprise awareness via regular blogs, promotion of NetSecOPEN content and targeted content in their popular e-zine Tech Insights.
Black Hat and NetSecOPEN will work together to produce a panel discussion at upcoming Black Hat conferences. The goal is to bring together test labs, product vendors, enterprises, and test tool vendors to discuss topics associated with network security performance testing.
